About the event

Bleeding Control Basics is a hands-on course that teaches participants how to recognize life-threatening bleeding, and how to use trauma equipment found in a Bleeding Control Station to help save lives. Designed for responders, educators, students, workplace teams, and community members with little to no medical experience, this class covers essential skills such as tourniquet application, wound packing, compression, chest seal placement, and shock recognition. Available as a two- or four-hour course, this training combines nationally recognized guidance with practical instruction to build confidence when immediate action is needed.

Our train-the-trainer solution is a minimum of 16-hours and provides an in-depth review of the course curriculum with additional focus on instructional techniques, course facilitation, practical skill evaluation (where applicable), and consistent delivery of the approved curriculum. Upon successful completion, participants are certified by Con10gency to deliver the training to others while maintaining program quality, consistency, and learning objectives.
