Surviving the Incident, Surviving the Injury is focused on mental and physical tactics in addition to a tactical first aid block of training. This course prepares individuals to recognize signs of a potential violent encounter and offers techniques and tools to stop or mitigate the impact of such an event.

The Tactical First Aid element draws on insights from The Hartford Consensus in collaboration with the American College of Surgeons' "Stop the Bleed" program, and the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians.
