A full day of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and high yield Explosives training and protective equipment demonstrations for area special operations first responders. This event is invite only and not open to the public.

About the Event
Upon completion of this eight (8) hour block of instruction, students will receive basic familiarization training in the below law enforcement special operations focus areas:
Basic Air Purifying Respirator (APR) usage
- Donning / usage / doffing / maintenance
Introduction to Power Air Purifying Respirators (PAPRs)
- Familiarization / donning / usage/ doffing / maintenance
Tactical Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
- Familiarization / usage / donning / doffing / maintenance
Tactical thermal imaging usage
Introduction to CBRNE Personal Protection Ensembles
- Variable classes of protection, OSHA VS NFPA
- Mission specific capabilities
- Donning / usage / doffing / maintenance
CBRNE emergency awareness
- CBRNE agents, hazards and risks
- Signs and symptoms of exposure
- Treatment / DuoDote Auto-Injectors
- Decontamination procedures
Point of Injury Care
- Tactical SIM assessment
- MARCH Rapid Trauma Assessment
- Tourniquet application review
- Junctional hemorrhage review
- Simple airway maintenance (open / clear / maintenance)
- Assessment and treatment / penetrating chest trauma
- Shock assessment / prevention
- Hypothermia
Training will include a reality-based, tactical scenario where students will be able to apply the above identified objectives.
